There’s a lot of reading and designing and drawing happening around here, though most of what I’m working on is at the ‘too soon to mention’ stage. But for now, here are a few tidbits.
Reading for productivity
Recently I was asked to review a new book on personal/business development by a nationally-known author. I’m always looking for ways to improve my productivity, so the subject is right up my alley. I’d tell you more, but I’m sworn to secrecy until the book is published, scheduled for early 2025.
Solving problems for clients
Several client projects are in-process. Creating an attractive and simple-to-understand wayfinding system is a big one, then there’s the design of a coin that’ll be used to inspire Olympic athletes, plus a logo/branding/web design project. I’ll share results from these projects when they’re farther along (but here are some cool logo projects from the past).
Speaking of logos and branding, here’s an interesting development on a project I did for the Smoky Hill Museum many years ago.
Ongoing…
The 100 Day Project continues (today is Day 25, see more on my Instagram page), as does the Way of the Cross exhibition, located at Christ Cathedral in Salina. There is intriguing work by 14 different artists, and well worth your time to take a look. Let me know if you want a tour, available until March 30.
From the sublime to the ridiculous
Who knew that a topic near and dear to my heart—which I wrote about just last week!—would end up on the most recent episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm?
I’d love to help you with any creative project you’ve got on your mind. Send me an email and we’ll chat.
